Paediatric Dermatology
What Is a Paediatric Dermatologist?
A paediatric dermatologist cares for children (newborns through adolescents) with skin disorders. Many perform surgical procedures such as laser therapy and cutaneous surgery. Pediatric dermatologists diagnose a wide variety of skin disorders including birthmarks (vascular and pigmented), skin infections, dermatitis (atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis), melanocytic nevi (moles), genodermatoses (inherited skin disorders), acneiform eruptions, rare forms of skin cancer, drug eruptions, viral exanthems, and collagen vascular disorders.

“Thank you Dr Connelly for the virtual consults. We were at a loss for months before your help and my son’s skin condition was getting worse with no diagnosis.
My son’s severe disability is a challenge when accessing healthcare so our family wish to let you know we are grateful for your kindness, flexibility and correct diagnosis.”
I really mean it!
